Toastmasters International is a non-profit, educational and public benefit organization in which members help each other to learn a multitude of different skills needed to effectively communicate within a challenging environment. Learning and practicing public speaking and teamwork skills with Toastmasers in professional, community and international affairs is highly cost effective.

Founded in USA in 1924, Toastmasters International is devoted to making effective verbal communication a worldwide reality. Today there are over 12,000 clubs with a total of over 250,000 members in the world! At the moment there are 13 clubs in Switzerland. They are organized in three Areas of Clubs which form a Division within the District of Continental Europe.

  • Learn and practice techniques of public speaking in English
  • Prepare and deliver 5-7 minute speeches on various topics following the objectives listed in the ten assignments in the Basic Toastmasters Manual
